There are a lot of reasons that I love my "other job". I'm passionate about it. It is flexible which allows me to continue to be (relatively) good at my primary responsibility of mom-ing. It allows me to meet some really great people, and watch some really freakin' cute kids grow up in front of my lens.
I started photographing the Oshinsky family before they were even "officially" the Oshinsky family. The most visited post on my blog is this maternity shoot. The living on the inside baby featured there is now nearly 3 years old and pretty much has life all figured out. She likes pretty dresses and fishing with daddy. She is sweet and sassy with a personality that explodes from her ocean colored eyes. I had the pleasure of photographing her around the time of her first birthday and last summer was honored to photograph the Oshinsky wedding at the most beautiful vineyard.
With baby number two on the way, I was thrilled to head back to Core Creek Park (a favorite family hang out) to snap some maternity and family photos before the newest addition arrives.
They totally make my job easy!
