Meet the Mohrs

As with many of the awesome supporters of the Backyard Boutique, the client featured here is a former co-worker of mine.  You truly never know where your personal and professional networks will take you - be nice to the people you meet!

After nearly four years of marriage and a first time home purchase, Meredith and Kyle welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Emerson Rose, at the end of March.  I met little Emmy during her third week in this world and I'm pretty sure she was very excited to see me!

Newborn photo shoots are simultaneously exciting and terrifying.  Meeting a brand new person is always pretty great, but they aren't at all interested in anyone else's agenda; which can certainly be a challange.  Heaping amounts of patience, a dash of humility and the ability to get a good butt patting rhythm going (for the baby, silly) are essential.  It is all more than worth it to be able to document such a monumental time for new parents.  Emmy girl was the perfect model - her parents didn't do too bad either!
